Image result for confrontation self Have you ever wondered or asked yourself this simple question; "What is standing in my way of my success, my breakthrough, my breakout, a better lived life?" Have you ever asked the question and come up with the answer which points to something or someone outside of yourself? What if the one that is really standing in your way is actually you? What if you have become your own road block to living the life you dreamed? What if you have become your own hindrance? The what if's can go on and on; but what it boils down to is you may be the one that is a problem to yourself.

We hear people say that you may have to confront some of the issues in your life; I have even said it. But what if the issue you must confront is YOU? What if you must command yourself to look deep within and see that the only force that is preventing you from moving is your own self? Do you think that if this happens you will move out of your own way? Do you think that you have the courage to confront you?

I have had to look at myself earlier this year. I was in a place where I was sabotaging myself, my progress in life, my dreams. I was so busy helping everyone else that I often neglected myself. I was looking for others to give to me what I needed to find if only I looked deep within.

I finally had to invest in me. I finally had to see that what I need was inside of me all along; I just needed to look within.

There is something magnificent and wonderful on the inside of you. There is something great that needs to come out; but the only way it will be found is if the person who may be standing in your way of great success is confronted and commanded to move so that you may move into position to be all you can be.

Your future, your destiny, your dreams, your visions, your goals, your achievement, your success is waiting for you to show up. It's time to break out of the things that has had you hindered from walking into and living your best life.

Hiding behind a Mask

We've often head people talk about many walking around with a mask on. We hear people say things like it's time to take off the mask. Unfortunately many don't understand why people wear masks. Let's be open, how honest, and real.

Oftentimes a mask is worn because there is some type of pain hiding underneath.  The person is not hiding who they are because more often than not the pain of hurt, rejection, betrayal has caused one to actually not know who they are.

We tell people to take the mask off, but do we stop to inquire about why the mask may even be there in the first place? Most times we don't. Conclusions are jumped to that the person wearing the mask is trying to be someone other than who they are. Are they really? Or could it possibly be they can't associate themselves with who they really are because all they see is the pain and rejection which has become a normal part of life to them?

Today we don't have to wear masks. Today we can take the mask off and be free of the pain riddled life that once was a part of who we were. We no longer have to be ashamed of what we went through, because there is a new life waiting on us to take a step towards it. No more hiding in the shadows, no more hiding behind the pain, no more allowing past hurts rule our lives convincing us this is all we will ever experience. Today we can finally stand up and boldly SAY NO MORE. I'M REMOVING THE MASK THAT HID THE PAIN OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. TODAY I CHOOSE TO LIVE. TODAY I CHOOSE TO STOP HIDING BEHIND THE MASK.

There is hope to be found when we remove the mask. There is life to be found when we remove the mask. There is joy to be found when we remove the mask. There is power to be found when  we remove the mask. There is strength to be found when we remove the mask. There is peace to be found when  we remove the mask. THERE IS A REMARKABLE PERSON (YOU) TO BE FOUND WHEN THE MASK IS REMOVED.

TAKE A CHANCE ON YOU TODAY AND REMOVE THE MASK. IT'S TIME TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE NOW-WITHOUT the mask.

Year in Review

Image result for new beginnings

Have you taken a look at 2016 and what it held for your life? Have you sat down and examined everything that may have transpired in 2016? Have you decided that there are some things you would like to change about yourself in 2017 Well I have.

There are many things about my 2016 that I didn't like; but there are just as many things that I find that I did like. One of those things was I stepped out of my comfort zone just a little; but I declare today that I won't stop there. There is much that God is calling me to; and He is also calling you as well.

I have been talking a lot about 2017 and I am excited about what is in store for everyone who is associated with me and for everything that God is going to do for your in this new year of life.

Look back over your 2016 and ask yourself what do I see? Do you see a person who has fulfilled each of the desires that were placed within you? Do you see a person who has moved a little away from their comfort zone? Do you see a person who has dreams they would like to fulfill; but are scared to move forward? What is it that you see that was accomplished or not accomplished in 2016? Take a count of those things and then begin to move forward into the new.

Don't allow certain things to prevent you from enjoying the best that life has to offer you! Don't allow yourself to slip back into the comforts of those things that has not allowed you much room to breath, live, or move forward. Don't allow anything including your own thoughts stop your from the success that is waiting you in 2017. Don't stop, don't quit, don't give in and certainly don't give up.

MAKE 2017 A YEAR OF REMARKABLE MEMORIES!  Image result for new beginnings

When they don't say I'm Sorry

Image result for no apologiesHave you ever wondered why some people refuse to say those words that would allow you to know that some how they may have cared and they feel bad about what they did? Have you waited for someone to apologize but the apology never came? Have you asked yourself why they act as if they did nothing to you? Many of us have asked ourselves these same questions over and over again and to this day still have not come up with an answer that makes us feel better.

Truth is some people may be sorry for something they did to us and just don't know how to say those two words many of us would like to hear, "I'M SORRY!" But to be honest many more just outright refuse to say they are sorry because in their eyes they did nothing wrong. Regardless of what, whether we get an apology or not we must go on with life.

Prison cells (natural and spiritual) are full of people who have never received an apology from someone they may have trusted. The sad fact is many are in these cells have been given a life sentence. How does that apply in the spiritual sense? When you have not been an apology for the hurt pain caused to you many times people tend to live life trapped. Trapped in the pain that has been inflicted upon them; yet still some have now become bitter themselves and have added extra security that has assisted them in being trapped.

We have to begin to say to ourselves that regardless if we get the apology or not we must release ourselves. We can't wait for someone else to do it; we have the power within to do it. Tell yourself that you will no longer stay STUCK; but that you are expunged your self and you are now free.

Sometimes we will never get an apology even when we know we deserve one; but that can not be a tool for us to stay where we are. Set yourself free today. You, your peace of mind, your joy/happiness are worth more to your future than staying stuck in the past.

Stop Thief

More often than we care to acknowledge we sit amongst thieves. But there is one thief in particular who wants nothing more than to destroy everychance we have of living a fulfilled life. This is a life filled with the blessings of a joy and peace that we can't truly understand.  He sets out to mask every possibility one may have to embark upon a journey filled with wholeness, especially after experiencing something unpleasant.

When we begin to use our voices to halt the thief in his tracks, that's when we have tapped into the authority that has been bestowed upon us. We have been graced with the ability to say no more. We also have the power to not allow any more disruptive spirits haggle us for the freedom that is rightfully ours.

Don't continue to allow anything that is not productive to/for your life prevent you from achieving the abundance of what is rightlfully yours. Don't allow lingering effects of trauma continue to place you in a placr where hopelessness is all around you. You have an advocate who wants nothing more than to see us healed and whole.

Remember your peace and joy is not for the taking. Today with the help of One who will fill you with an abundance of hope, peace, love, and joy is waiting to see you through. Blessings!

Don't loose Hope/Faith

Image result for hope  Where there is no hope; there is no faith. Where there is lack of faith; there seems to be no hope.

When a person experiences a traumatic event; be it loose of a job, the death of a loved one, rejection from others (yes, that can be traumatic to some,) abuse, or whatever-two of the most important things that is truly needed is hope and faith. These two words go hand in hand. Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1.)

All too often when these two things are lost the one in the traumatic situation feels lost as well. The feeling of loneliness seem to cover one like the water of the sea sinking a ship. What am I to do is a constant thought. Sometimes people even go as far as questioning or blaming God wondering where is He during their time of need.

What we fail to realize is that's when we must truly dig our heels in and stand. Sometimes you may have to crawl; but eventually if one crawls long enough they will come to a place where they will begin to pick themselves up and will start standing. Now they can begin to stand firm in faith as they see the hope they may have thought was afar off.

Do some things appear hopeless? Yes, if one is looking through natural lenses. Are they really? No. When we understand that God is moving in the situation by His Spirit, and all things work out just as He originally intended for our lives (to enjoy life and life more abundantly), we can rest assured that we don't have to loose hope.

Make a committed effort for yourself not to loose hope or faith. Be sure to encourage yourself daily to HOLD ON! Remember the woman with the issue of blood could have lost all hope that she would have ever healed; especially if she listened to the voices of others; but she had that mustard seed of faith that if she could get close enough to Jesus, she would have her breakthrough which would lead; had led to; her healing to become whole.

Don't loose hope because of what your natural circumstances say. Ask God to activate/renew you faith; and dare to hope that what you need is on the horizon. Blessings!

Who Am I?

Image result for who am i

Do  you ever ask yourself "Who am I?" Do you ever sit back and ponder your answer? Are you being the you that you want to be, dreamed of being, or who  God is/has called (calling) you to be? These are questions we should really ponder each day.

Each of us were called to do something great in life and to fulfill a specific purpose, but without knowing who we are that purpose will sit neglected on the inside of us; the baby (ministry/business/our own unique selves) will lay dormant. We can be in a room full of people and still not know who we are, hiding in the shadows of obscurity.

When we begin to ponder who we are many times God will reveal to us who we are not before He shows us who we are. I guess you can say that is a good thing. Reason being when you know who you are not you don't have to feel as if you have to fill the shoes you thought you did; or be the person everyone else expects you to be. You don't have to put on airs for the sake of others.

I've found that when a person begins to recognize and understand who they are there is a sort of metamorphosis that takes place. The way we see ourselves change, the way we view ourselves begins to line up with our God ordained destiny. Everything about us changes.

A person who learns who they are gets to a place in their lives where they can fully embrace and love on them. They no longer have to be defined by the views of others, the approval of others and how others tell them how they should look, what they should say, how they dress, so on and so forth no longer has a grip on them. They can shout to the world that I am becoming the me that I want to be, I am becoming the me He (God) created me to be.

Image result for the me that i want to beGod created each of us for greatness, and the only way for us to walk in, operate in, embrace that greatness we must ask ourselves, "Who am I?' As God begins to reveal to you who you are, learn to make no apologies to others for being you. Don't be ashamed of who you are, and who you are becoming. Today learn to embrace all that you are. Remember you are Uniquely You, some people will embrace you and at the same time others may not; but at the end of the day you must be satisfied with you and not allow people to determine who you are or who you are to become. Blessings!
