Hiding behind a Mask

We've often head people talk about many walking around with a mask on. We hear people say things like it's time to take off the mask. Unfortunately many don't understand why people wear masks. Let's be open, how honest, and real.

Oftentimes a mask is worn because there is some type of pain hiding underneath.  The person is not hiding who they are because more often than not the pain of hurt, rejection, betrayal has caused one to actually not know who they are.

We tell people to take the mask off, but do we stop to inquire about why the mask may even be there in the first place? Most times we don't. Conclusions are jumped to that the person wearing the mask is trying to be someone other than who they are. Are they really? Or could it possibly be they can't associate themselves with who they really are because all they see is the pain and rejection which has become a normal part of life to them?

Today we don't have to wear masks. Today we can take the mask off and be free of the pain riddled life that once was a part of who we were. We no longer have to be ashamed of what we went through, because there is a new life waiting on us to take a step towards it. No more hiding in the shadows, no more hiding behind the pain, no more allowing past hurts rule our lives convincing us this is all we will ever experience. Today we can finally stand up and boldly SAY NO MORE. I'M REMOVING THE MASK THAT HID THE PAIN OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. TODAY I CHOOSE TO LIVE. TODAY I CHOOSE TO STOP HIDING BEHIND THE MASK.

There is hope to be found when we remove the mask. There is life to be found when we remove the mask. There is joy to be found when we remove the mask. There is power to be found when  we remove the mask. There is strength to be found when we remove the mask. There is peace to be found when  we remove the mask. THERE IS A REMARKABLE PERSON (YOU) TO BE FOUND WHEN THE MASK IS REMOVED.

TAKE A CHANCE ON YOU TODAY AND REMOVE THE MASK. IT'S TIME TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE NOW-WITHOUT the mask.
