Good afternoon;
Today I have decided to embark on a new journey; well not exactly new; that I have wanted to embark upon for quite some time. My purpose is to see women healed of life unpleasant situations in order to go on and begin to shine as God's Precious J.E.W.E.L.S (TM).
Today I decide to lend my voice to be an advocate for women (men/children) who have been affected by a terrible epidemic that increasingly plagues our communities, our country and many countries worldwide. That deadly epidemic is domestic violence or (domestic) abuse.
Many in today's society are either in a violent relationship; or may have come out and are still dealing with the torrents of pain from this epidemic. These women (men/children) are being robbed of the good life that has been provided for us to inherit by the death of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. I have to put it this way because I am a faith based person and the only way I was able to escape was because of my faith that God would provide the deliverance and healing that I needed in order to live a healthy life!
I ask that anyone who reads my blog share this with others; as it is going to take the efforts of us all in order to see women (men/children) go from being broken to becoming whole.
***The reason I put men/children in parenthesis is because women are not the only ones being abused; although a great number of domestic incidents that occur is against women; men go through this as well; and children who are raised in this type of environment are greatly affected.***
It's time that a light is shined upon this. It's time for women (men/children) to know that they are loved; can be loved without physical, verbal abuse, it's time for people to go from being broken to becoming whole. It's time that we (survivors) come together to see our women, men, children know that love doesn't hurt, love is kind, love is nurturing, love is a beautiful thing that can empower others to grow into beautiful people. It's time that we take a stand and say no to violence, no to intentional hurt (I say it this way because sometimes people may get hurt but it is not always intentional), it's time we stand up and fight for our sister's, our daughters, our mother's, our aunts, our brothers, and all children.
So I would like to extend a warm welcome to my site. I hope that there is something here that will cause each of us to look upon the people who are hurting, the broken and bruised, the hurting and the used; with compassion, and love; always saying a prayer for all that all may go from broken to becoming whole. Blessings!!!!
