Hiding behind a Mask
We've often head people talk about many walking around with a mask on. We hear people say things like it's time to take off the mask. Unfortunately many don't understand why people wear masks. Let's be open, how honest, and real.
Oftentimes a mask is worn because there is some type of pain hiding underneath. The person is not hiding who they are because more often than not the pain of hurt, rejection, betrayal has caused one to actually not know who they are.
We tell people to take the mask off, but do we stop to inquire about why the mask may even be there in the first place? Most times we don't. Conclusions are jumped to that the person wearing the mask is trying to be someone other than who they are. Are they really? Or could it possibly be they can't associate themselves with who they really are because all they see is the pain and rejection which has become a normal part of life to them?
Today we don't have to wear masks. Today we can take the mask off and be free of the pain riddled life that once was a part of who we were. We no longer have to be ashamed of what we went through, because there is a new life waiting on us to take a step towards it. No more hiding in the shadows, no more hiding behind the pain, no more allowing past hurts rule our lives convincing us this is all we will ever experience. Today we can finally stand up and boldly SAY NO MORE. I'M REMOVING THE MASK THAT HID THE PAIN OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. TODAY I CHOOSE TO LIVE. TODAY I CHOOSE TO STOP HIDING BEHIND THE MASK.
There is hope to be found when we remove the mask. There is life to be found when we remove the mask. There is joy to be found when we remove the mask. There is power to be found when we remove the mask. There is strength to be found when we remove the mask. There is peace to be found when we remove the mask. THERE IS A REMARKABLE PERSON (YOU) TO BE FOUND WHEN THE MASK IS REMOVED.
TAKE A CHANCE ON YOU TODAY AND REMOVE THE MASK. IT'S TIME TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE NOW-WITHOUT the mask.

Year in Review
Have you taken a look at 2016 and what it held for your life? Have you sat down and examined everything that may have transpired in 2016? Have you decided that there are some things you would like to change about yourself in 2017 Well I have.
There are many things about my 2016 that I didn't like; but there are just as many things that I find that I did like. One of those things was I stepped out of my comfort zone just a little; but I declare today that I won't stop there. There is much that God is calling me to; and He is also calling you as well.
I have been talking a lot about 2017 and I am excited about what is in store for everyone who is associated with me and for everything that God is going to do for your in this new year of life.
Look back over your 2016 and ask yourself what do I see? Do you see a person who has fulfilled each of the desires that were placed within you? Do you see a person who has moved a little away from their comfort zone? Do you see a person who has dreams they would like to fulfill; but are scared to move forward? What is it that you see that was accomplished or not accomplished in 2016? Take a count of those things and then begin to move forward into the new.
Don't allow certain things to prevent you from enjoying the best that life has to offer you! Don't allow yourself to slip back into the comforts of those things that has not allowed you much room to breath, live, or move forward. Don't allow anything including your own thoughts stop your from the success that is waiting you in 2017. Don't stop, don't quit, don't give in and certainly don't give up.
MAKE 2017 A YEAR OF REMARKABLE MEMORIES!
When they don't say I'm Sorry
Have you ever wondered why some people refuse to say those words that would allow you to know that some how they may have cared and they feel bad about what they did? Have you waited for someone to apologize but the apology never came? Have you asked yourself why they act as if they did nothing to you? Many of us have asked ourselves these same questions over and over again and to this day still have not come up with an answer that makes us feel better.
Truth is some people may be sorry for something they did to us and just don't know how to say those two words many of us would like to hear, "I'M SORRY!" But to be honest many more just outright refuse to say they are sorry because in their eyes they did nothing wrong. Regardless of what, whether we get an apology or not we must go on with life.
Prison cells (natural and spiritual) are full of people who have never received an apology from someone they may have trusted. The sad fact is many are in these cells have been given a life sentence. How does that apply in the spiritual sense? When you have not been an apology for the hurt pain caused to you many times people tend to live life trapped. Trapped in the pain that has been inflicted upon them; yet still some have now become bitter themselves and have added extra security that has assisted them in being trapped.
We have to begin to say to ourselves that regardless if we get the apology or not we must release ourselves. We can't wait for someone else to do it; we have the power within to do it. Tell yourself that you will no longer stay STUCK; but that you are expunged your self and you are now free.
Sometimes we will never get an apology even when we know we deserve one; but that can not be a tool for us to stay where we are. Set yourself free today. You, your peace of mind, your joy/happiness are worth more to your future than staying stuck in the past.
